Blood Bank

Grace has partnered with the Red Cross to combat two systemic issues. The first is the worldwide blood shortage brought on by Covid-19. The second is that blood carries a higher price tag than refugees can afford to pay in a hospital setting. Through our partnership with the Red Cross, we have created a win-win solution that solves both of these issues. Grace’s responsibility is to spread awareness in the refugee community and host community blood drives. In response, the Red Cross stores some of that blood to be exclusively used on a referral basis through our internal healthcare system. In this way, the refugee community can alleviate the blood shortages, and at the same time, a resource is created for them and their neighbors when the need arises. We are honored to work with such a prestigious and global organization.
