GRACE has partnered with over 30 refugee entrepreneurs to help make their dreams come true and to support their community at large. Carmen was a baker in Venezuela. GRACE accepted her request to be given a hand mixer. Carmen used that hand mixer to make cakes. Eventually, she opened her shop. Today Carmen has a car, something that only the wealthiest families possess in Ecuador. Ramon was a chiropractor. GRACE provided Ramon with a chiropractic table, and now Ramon gives free chiropractic services to his community and his paid clients. Mario was a chief. GRACE provided a food cart so that he could create Mario’s Tacos. Mario catered events with his taco cart in Cuenca. Eventually, he returned to Venezuela but brought his taco business with him. Mario went on to win an entrepreneurial reward in his home province of Venezuela seen in the following video:
